Clinical Assistant

The Clinical Assistant course is designed to develop essential, hands-on clinical skills such as Phlebotomy, EKG / ECG, Injections, Vital Signs, Urinalysis and Physical Exam Assisting. All training is done in a realistic clinical environment outfitted with industry standard equipment and clinical supplies.

Upon completion, students are expected to demonstrate their skills during the clinical skills final exam and pass a comprehensive two part final including a physical test and an oral test.

The Clinical Assistant course is a clinical skill building class and does not come with an internship.

Program Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to read and write English.

Must sign a consent form to participate in clinical exercises.
